Boot openstack image and log in interactively

Create key pair on Openstack cloud (Security and Access)

Move it to the .ssh directory and chmod 600

Run the VM

ssh -v -i ~/.ssh/macsob2-keypair.pem root@149.165.149.48

Change memory requirements on a BelleCS job

For belle i specify these in the condor configuration (as defaults). That should be in the file

/etc/condor/config.d/partition

After checking these lines were commented out, so there would have been very little resources available for belle jobs. I've modified them to request 1 CPU, 2GB of memory, and 10GB of storage:

# default number of CPUs per job

JOB_DEFAULT_REQUESTCPUS = 1

# Default job memory request in Mbytes

JOB_DEFAULT_REQUESTMEMORY = 2000

# default job disk request in kbytes

JOB_DEFAULT_REQUESTDISK = 10000000

If you wish to modify these, edit the file and then do:

sudo service condor reload
